I never considered a career in manufacturing until I participated in NMITE’s project-based challenge on the subject. The feedback I received during my job interview for Mondelēz was overwhelmingly positive, particularly highlighting my experience at NMITE and my ability to solve real-world problems.

During my studies at NMITE, I realised that my passion for technology hardware and software aligns perfectly with opportunities across various sectors, including construction. Our students come from all walks of life, from all over the UK, and each with their own story to tell.
You might come from a traditional academic background, or have previous experience in industry. You might have A-level Maths and Physics. You might not. And you might have started your journey on what you thought was the right career path, before discovering engineering, and NMITE. Perhaps you even began your studies at a more traditional university, found it wasn't right for you, and now want to switch to our unique hands-on learning model.
No matter where you've started, we aim for you to graduate on a level playing field and to be fully prepared for your future career.

Learn to build sustainably, from components to assemblies, designing with knowledge of how timber structures are manufactured and crafted. Choose individual courses or select from our award-winning discounted course bundles - Timber TED 1 and Timber TED 2 - all delivered from our award-winning NMITE Centre for Advanced Timber Technology (CATT) in Hereford.
