We understand the impact of the rising cost of living has had on you, the student, so we’ve created NMITE Boost – an additional support scheme that we hope will help ease the burden of day-to-day costs.
Some of these bonuses include free meals, a free food shopping scheme, free sanitary products, additional emergency financial support, and travel expense support.

Enjoy a selection of fruit, cereal bars, and toast each day within the main hall dining area. Make sure to head to the main hall before 9:45am to grab your free breakfast. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar will also be provided.
Once a month, on a Friday, our free daily breakfast will be replaced by a free hot breakfast.
We have a stock of free sanitary products available to anyone who requires them. Head to room A5 to pick up any sanitary supplies you need.
Boost offers student discounts all across Hereford for many different businesses, so you'll be able to get the most from the city at the best price!
Once per month, you’ll have the opportunity to book a slot for a free Sunday lunch at the Wellington, located in Hereford town. This monthly booking is limited to 40 students and operates on a first come first serve basis. Just sign up 10 days prior to the Sunday date each month by emailing our fantastic Student Services team.
Sign up to shop at the Living Room Larder once per week for free! Grab 10 items of your choice for free for up to 12 weeks. There are limited spaces on this scheme and are designated on a first come first serve basis.
NMITE Boost is constantly expanding it's range of partners so we can offer our students even more deals and discounts across Hereford.
NMITE will provide £1 per day to students commuting via car/rail/bus to Hereford. Students only need to provide proof of purchase for either an annual transport ticket or daily/weekly/parking tickets that can be submitted to Student Services monthly for reimbursement.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty and are unable to meet your living costs, NMITE may be able to provide you some assistance. Our Financial Assistance Fund can provide up to £1000 to ease your financial concerns given appropriate circumstances.
Additionally, NMITE can provide a crisis payment of up to £100 two times per year, to help you cover any unexpected large payments.
