Graham Ward is an Associate Professor here at NMITE, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring. Known for engaging communication and presentational skills, Graham is a motivational teacher dedicated to problem-solving, inspired by George Pólya and Dikran Tahta. Graham's career spans diverse roles in commercial, technical, and educational environments, demonstrating a remarkable ability to develop high-performance teams through effective relationship building.
At The King’s School, Worcester, and Malvern St. James, Great Malvern, Graham introduced a consistent problem-solving methodology that has enhanced students' analytical skills. As a Mathematics and Engineering Instructor for the GE Edison Graduate Training Program, Graham shaped the technical acumen of emerging engineers and served as a Subject Matter Expert at the GE Program Management University.
With a strong academic background, including a PGCE from the University of Buckingham and a first-class BEng(Hons) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Graham is committed to the education and development of young people. Recent teaching positions at Malvern St. James and The King’s School have further honed his skills in nurturing student potential. Graham inspires and empowers students to become adept problem solvers and effective communicators.
