Report and Support: Tackling Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Together

NMITE is committed to creating a community that is safe, inclusive, and respectful for all students and staff. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to harassment and sexual misconduct - because no one should ever feel unsafe or unheard.

What’s Changed - and Why It Matters

From 1 August, NMITE’s updated Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Policy strengthens our framework for action. This includes:

  • Clear definitions of what constitutes misconduct, guided by legal and ethical standards
  • Mandatory training for all staff and students, raising awareness and responsibility
  • Clear accessible reporting pathways that meet the needs of every individual
  • Enhanced support from our Student Services Team and wellbeing professionals

How We Support Students

  • Talk to someone you trust - Reach out to our trained Student Services Team in-person, by phone, or by email
