What’s Changed - and Why It Matters
From 1 August, NMITE’s updated Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Policy strengthens our framework for action. This includes:
- Clear definitions of what constitutes misconduct, guided by legal and ethical standards
- Mandatory training for all staff and students, raising awareness and responsibility
- Clear accessible reporting pathways that meet the needs of every individual
- Enhanced support from our Student Services Team and wellbeing professionals
How We Support Students
- Report with confidence - Use our confidential Report & Support platform on MyNMITE
- Talk to someone you trust - Reach out to our trained Student Services Team in-person, by phone, or by email
- Make informed choices - We’ll guide you through next steps, whether it’s investigation, informal resolution, or external support
