Mental health and wellbeing

Looking after your mental health and wellbeing is vital to enabling you to enjoy and engage fully in your studies at NMITE, make the most of your time with us, and achieve your full potential in your chosen future pathway.

NMITE is committed to supporting you with any aspect of your mental health. We offer services and run promotions to raise awareness of mental health, encourage all of you to access information available on MyNMITE and engage with the Student Services Team, safe in the knowledge that you will be accepted and supported by the entire NMITE community.     

NMITE has our own internal team of mental health champions who can provide individual support and signposting as well as working with you to develop a mental health support plan if you need one. As an NMITE student you will also have access to Rights Steps, an independent on-line advice and counselling service. Face-to-face counselling services are also available.

If you experience any sort of wellbeing or mental health problem whilst at NMITE, support is always available through our Student Support Team.
